Alex McKie, futurologist, researcher and strategist
Alex McKie is a futurologist, researcher and strategist, specialising in understanding consumer trends and the social impact of technology, for clients including Nokia, Nestle, Tesco, BUPA, Euromonitor, the BBC, Premier Foods and Great Ormond Street Hospital. She has worked as a communications planner for Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy & Mather and J. Walter Thompson, and at the Henley Centre was responsible for the European Consumer Futures programme. Recently she travelled the length and breadth of the British Isles, working on books on the future of Britain, based on asking people what were their ‘Three wishes for the future’.
