New adventures in innovation

Book NowTuesday 24 September at St Brides, London

The day will be split into three parts. Each part will feature a series of show and tells from innovative projects along with a panel discussion. (Programme timings are subject to change.)

We are inviting all attendees to share news, comments and photos from the event as they happen using Storini. You can register at Storini is an online tool to engage communities with hyperlocal news teams, developed in the Books and Print Sandbox. Your contributions will be curated by a Storini journalist and available at

PART 1: How to innovate showcases new projects that have been produced through innovation programmes. A panel of makers, experts, and heads of innovation programmes will then discuss the key insights that allow the rapid and low-cost development of successful products and services, and how you can apply these to your own business or practice.

PART 2: Future dimensions introduces projects that are pushing boundaries and experimenting with new forms. This panel will explore what’s next for digital publishing and where we need to see more innovation, as well as which new technologies and approaches are on the horizon, and how you can keep one step ahead.

PART 3: Is innovation worth it? asks the question: can experimentation lead to new and sustainable revenue streams or is it just too big a risk? Innovators will showcase projects that demonstrate how you can create revenue and will be frank about finances and the challenges they face, while the panel will argue it out as to whether innovation is worth it.
